Cupcake apron
I bought a play cupcake kit for my 4 year old grand niece for Christmas and thought a little apron would be cute - well after searching online for one I thought 'hey I could make one!' And how cute is that SU material I had stashed. My daughter came up with the idea of the cupcake applique and I am pretty happy with it. This was not my first sewing project (maybe 5th!) and I am quite happy with the results.
Here is another picture with a matching tag for wrapping. I sure hope she likes it.
Now more to prepare for Christmas!

Mini bundt cake box
A couple months ago I wanted to try making traditional pound cake, but I didn't want to have a whole pound cake in the house so I made individual cakes with a mini bundt cake pan. I had little cakes to share so I had to do something for presentation, right?! Well, those little cupcake boxes work perfectly - just had to adjust the dimensions to fit my cakes. Here is another picture of the finished project; I forgot to take a picture of the cake - next time...

A lovely little teapot...
I love this little teapot from Papertrey Ink; it is just so sweet. And what's better than a little hot tea to make one feel better?
I used some retires Stampin' Up! paper that I love - I think this was the last of it!
Have a great Sunday!

Christmas cards...
I always have this idea that I will make Christmas cards throughout the year, but alas I never do. So, now that the season is upon us I am ready to whip some up. Love this wreath set from Papertrey Ink.
Maybe I will make some time this weekend to get a few more made; it will be time to mail soon!

Thankful
I had a great day yesterday celebrating Thanksgiving with family and friends. Here we all are getting ready to dive into a roasted butternut squash soup with crabmeat - yum!
On another note, what fun to come to my blog and see comments posted on the Papertrey blog hop post - was not expecting that! Thanks for all the niceness!
Maybe this will be an incentive to participate in more challenges and post.
Have a great day.

Papertrey Ink November Blog Hop
I finally am going to participate in a challenge or in this case blog hop. This one is perfect because I do love making tags - they are just so fun to make. Here are two different tags I made using the stocking stamp set. Can I say how excited I was when they came out with the die cut.
Then I wanted to have a bag to tie the tag on to so I made one. It makes coordination so easy. I will use this to pack up a few biscotti cookies - perfect size.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you card
Needed a thank you card today and thought I would pull out some Stampin' Up! supplies. Stampin' Up is what hooked me on to stamping about 8 years ago; I am what would be considered a hobby demonstrator. I used only SU products for quite a long time and then I eventually branched out to all the many new companies that have sprung up over the last few years. I still do love SU; I love the way all their products are coordinated - makes things quick and easy!

Mother's Day
Mother's Day was filled with performances of Mary Poppins; Sarah performed 2 shows on Sunday and that is where we visited the mothers in our family.
She did a wonderful job and the entire show was great!
I made a cute little box using an image from Stamping Bella - love these fun bella stamps. The boxes were filled with a dark chocolate bar and Earl Grey tea from Harrod's in London and a single carnation.
Hope they enjoyed the show and the little treats!
That's all for now; got to get ready to go to work!

Little notebooks
I am hooked on making these little notebooks that I found on Michelle Wooderson's blog. I have followed her blog forever and love her style.
1st blog post
I'm finally going to post to the blog I created months and months ago...
Just a little bit of how I spend a some of my free time!
